MountKilimanjaro
From green forest to open alpine ground, a journey through the landscapes of Africa’s highest mountain.

The mountain is more than its summit.
Kilimanjaro rises through distinct landscapes, from montane forest to moorland, alpine desert and the high summit zone. The change under your feet is part of what makes the journey memorable.
Your route and number of days matter. Start with the time you have, the style of trek you want and the season you can travel, then work through the plan with our team.

Build the right trek.
Travel season and route length are useful starting points for planning.
A popular climbing window
The early part of the year is one of the established periods for Kilimanjaro trips. Mountain conditions still vary, so discuss your route and dates rather than relying on a promise of clear weather.
Another established season
June to October is another commonly chosen period for a climb. Decide how much time you can spend on the mountain before choosing a route simply by its name.
Plan around the conditions
Kilimanjaro weather changes with season and altitude. If your holiday dates fall outside the usual periods, ask our team about the route and practical planning for that time.
Summit conditions vary. The mountain requires preparation whatever the season.
Before you go
Which route should I choose?
Tell us your available days and what you want from the trek. We can discuss route options and daily pacing before you settle on a plan.
Can I add a safari after the climb?
Yes. A mountain trip can be planned alongside a northern Tanzania safari. Leave room for travel and rest when deciding how many days to include.
